Draft 2 - Runaway Feedback

What we changed:

We changed our story, from OCD Drama story, to a problematic suicidal gothic drama story. We also didn't use any zoom in and zoom out shots. As a group we all finally participate on draft 2, hoping we could all participate again on draft 3 and 4.

What went well -

• The story is more clearer.
• Some transitions on the video we're good.
• The bus shot was a clean shot.
• The different weather e.g. the flash back was rainy, whilst the present time was sunny.

Even Better If -

• We filmed in a more busy place.
• Change the music
• Exaggerate the props and make up for Paul - to emphasise that he's a goth in our opening sequence.
• Make use of the tripod
• Emphasise Paul's character of being a goth and the fact that he's on a verge to commit suicide

We must think about:

Propp + Trov

Cannot have two flashbacks..

Must be : Present - flashback - present - flashback (different)

Think about how to make our opening sequence unique.
         New ideas : not just about stalking girls

Group Preliminary Task

The Media Preliminary

Equipments: Sony Video Camera, Tripod, Video Tape.
Props: Pictures, Folder, White sheets, 2 Tables, 2 Chairs.

The preliminary task was amazingly fun because you can now finally communicate and work with your group, to the people you havent worked with before.
However it is also hard and stressful, because we have a short time, and we had to share our space/time with other groups too. It is also hard because we made a lot of changes on the storyboard.
I learnt that you cannot film without a tripod, because the camera or scene, will be shaky if it was filmed free hand. I also learnt that we had to do lots of takes to choose which scenes to use, also takes for different types of camera angles.


My Self Targets :
-To Never Panic.
-Work well with your groups.
-Follow the storyboard.

Narrative Research - The 3 theorist

This narrative research can help us by, the fantasy. The fantasy could help us, because of our opening sequence, about a guy who is mental, and he fantasies of killing girls.
